The kidney energy system in Chinese Medicine is the source of life from conception to our last breath when the flame in the Gate of Fire/Vitality (Ming-Men) burns out completely. After conception the two primary fundamental substances injected into the embryo that will allow its development and growth are Essence (Jing) and Spirit (Shen) and this is mediated by Qi (Energy) according to TCM. According to this simple knowledge, we can translate that the whole purpose of life is the ongoing balance and incorporation of the energies of the heart (fire) and kidney (water).

This time of year (Valentine’s Day) can be very special to many people but this time of year can also be quite upsetting and lonely for others. For couples, Valentines Day is a day to celebrate each others love, passion and connection. It is a great time to actively set aside space and time to really fulfil each others need and focus on the fundamental connection of the relationship. The one major drawback of such a day is that although it brings a great deal of attention for those who are together and in love, the day does make you wander why this close connection and romance occur primarily on one special day and not every day.

Stress can be defined as the inability to adapt to a changing environment. We need to learn to embrace change to keep us moving forward proportionate to the laws that govern the universe. But when we try to project falsified (unrealistic) fantasies on our life (ourselves or others) that are not congruent with our level of understanding, intelligence and consciousness, we retreat and blame others or our environment for the loss.
The human psyche experiences a particular type of fear when it comes to change.

In this short video, I discuss the importance of having enthusiasm in everything you do and especially when interacting with your clients. Enthusiasm is about positive energy, courage and confidence and when communicating with your clients in this state, you express a powerful and influential source of energy to help guide your clients in making an informed decision to working with you.
One of the fundamental rules of business is that you are in the business of people, not products or services. People always come before products and services. It is people who make buying decisions not products or services. So this being the case, it is crucial that you understand the science of building rapport with your prospects and active clients.
One of the most crucial mistakes you can do when dealing with your clients is to disagree with them. Clients and customers may or may not always be right, but they are always right in what they believe regardless of what they believe to be true or not. It’s their right, not yours…
The human psyche is in balance and strives to keep and maintain this balance but the human awareness because of its filter mechanism, can often go out of balance due to your perceptions creating a state of imbalance and consequently a physiological and or pathological imbalance.
The brain is responsible for the regulation of the chemical composition of the blood (L, Hammer) . This regulation is linked to our perceptions (mind) and emotions. When you have perceptions of love and gratitude, the brain releases oxytocin (a love hormone that supports growth and metabolism), serotonin and growth hormone. So your body is in

A common question I am often asked from practitioners in our business seminars is “how to better communicate the value of their service to their clients?
In order to answer this question, it is first wise to look at the problem. The problem is that many practitioners whom I have spoken with focus a great deal of the kind/type/quality of care or service they provide for their clients. And although this is important, it is only half of the equation. This is called qualitative advantage. This gets people curious but is often not compelling enough for them to transact with you.
What makes people engage with you (or your services)…
You have a self-image ingrained from life experiences during childhood. People around you play a massive role in how you become who you are today. In fact, around the age of 5 it is said that you are using about 80% of your creative potential but by the age of 12, this potential can drop to about 2%. This is because we are educated to live in a world of conformity. We have to follow certain rules and certain ways. From school to university we are advised to think a certain way and to give the answers that will allow you to pass your grades. And not to ever question authority and use our own wisdom and intuition.
